Booking Terms and Conditions

Definitions

Activity - Refers to any Club, Activity, Course, Session or Event organised and delivered through any member of Bath Paddleboard Centre.

Terms and Conditions - Refers to the terms enclosed in this document and any other document referred to within it.

Bookings

Bookings are subject to these Terms and Conditions.

For safety reasons we can only guarantee a place on ANY activity to those booking in advance. Those that arrive on the day will not be guaranteed a place on the activity.

Bookings are accepted on a first come first served basis and may be subject to minimum and maximum numbers. For safety reasons, all booking forms must be completed in full and returned in advanced of the course/activity commencing. Where forms have not been correctly completed Bath Paddleboard Centre will not be held liable.

Before booking, please ensure you and those you are responsible for are able to attend the activity/session and meets the conditions for such activity as listed on our website or provided on email. We will not be liable for an adult's inability to complete a session /activity if they are not physically capable and suited to the demands of the course/activity.

As per our policy for "Natural Disasters" no refunds will be offered if cancellation is due to an unforeseeable natural disaster or "act of God" as quite obviously this is out of our control. Specifically, in no event will we be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever without limitation arising from the contracting of COVID-19 Coronavirus whilst engaging in any of our activities and/or sessions and by agreeing to this you thereby release and discharge us from any claims and liabilities against us due to any COVID-19 Coronavirus circumstance which might occur. We will of course honour your booking going forward and will offer you a unique credit code which will enable you to re-book for any of our sessions in the future and will be valid for 1 year from date of the cancelled session.

All prices are inclusive of VAT.

Refund Policy

All bookings and payment protection are subject to the right to cancel in writing (via our contact form) up to seven (7) calendar days before the date of the event. If you cancel within this period, your full payment will be returned.

Within seven (7) day period of the event all bookings are final and non-refundable.

If you want to change the booking, please notify us as soon as possible giving full reasons why. Bath Paddleboard Centre will at its discretion try and accommodate any request to change a date or venue, please note any change will be subject to an administrative fee.

Bath Paddleboard Centre reserves the right to temporarily or permanently exclude participants who are disruptive or continuously disruptive when attending any of our sessions or activities. No refund will be paid in the event of such an exclusion taking place. Participants whom have been identified to have consumed alcohol or drugs will be immediately excluded.

Bath Paddleboard Centre will not issue refunds on the basis of participants not being able to grasp or develop the specific skills taught on any of our courses/activities, nor will we issue refunds to participants who no longer wish to attend a activity/session for any reason.

Film/Photography

Bath Paddleboard Centre may from time to time take photographs/film of any Bath Paddleboard Centre activity, the use of this data is solely for the purpose of promoting and publicising Bath Paddleboard Centre activities through our literature, website, social media, press and TV. Names of participants names will not be disclosed by Bath Paddleboard Centre.

Parents/guardians that do not wish for their child to be photographed/filmed must make Bath Paddleboard Centre aware of this at the time of booking or in writing before the session/activity starts (where possible we will inform parents/guardians at the start of an session/activity).

Bath Paddleboard Centre will hold all personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

Promotions

Bath Paddleboard Centre may from time to time offer promotions, in the event that you have been issued with a promotional code, this code must be redeemed and used in accordance with both the terms and conditions of that promotion and these Terms of Conditions.

Medical information

Any medical conditions that any participant may have must be fully disclosed at the time of booking in writing to Bath Paddleboard Centre on the registration form. This information will be shared with the paramedic should there be an incident.

Child Protection

All Bath Paddleboard Centre instructors hold current child protection and DBS certification. In the event that a child makes a disclosure or a member of staff believes that the child is suffering from abuse we will act in accordance with our child protection policy, a copy of which is available on request.

Health & Safety

A full risk assessment will be carried out before any activity takes place at a new venue. All coaches hold a current first aid certificate issued by an appropriate body.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions you are providing consent for Bath Paddleboard Centre instructors to administer first aid to you or your child as required at any time.

For safety reasons it is compulsory for all attendees to wear a buoyancy aid / pfd when instructed to do by a Bath Paddleboard Centre instructor.

Bath Paddleboard Centre reserves the right to refuse permission to participate for any person not wearing safety equipment. It is the responsibility of each adult to ensure appropriate clothing is worn and/or available for their child for the Activity being undertaken and weather conditions.

Programme Changes

In the event that Bath Paddleboard Centre has to cancel an activity for any reason, a credit note for the full value of the booking fee paid will be issued to the person who booked or alternative provisions to stage the activity at another time will be arranged and confirmed to all, if you are unable to attend at the alternatively arranged time and confirm this to Bath Paddleboard Centre, Bath Paddleboard Centre will issue with a credit note to the full value of the booking fee paid.

Cancellations by us

Whilst every reasonable attempt will be made to deliver courses, Bath Paddleboard Centre reserves the right to cancel or modify the sessions due to safety considerations, bad weather, not meeting minimum numbers and other factors beyond our control. In this case we will offer you an alternative activity or the option of re-booking the intended activity for a new date.

Cancellations by you

Your deposit is not refundable. If you cancel your booking more than one month before your visit no further money will be due. If you cancel all or part of your booking within one month of your visit then the full balance of the trip is still due and no refund will be given. As with any holiday or trip away we recommend that you take out personal holiday insurance to cover cancellation. When booking on behalf of a group, we would recommend you book for the minimum number in the party and add others to the group as they confirm. If your group numbers reduce within one month of your activities the full balance for the number of places originally booked will still be due. However, for last minute bookings we need to know your final group numbers at the time of booking.

Customers with Disabilities

If you have a disability or medical condition please call us to discuss your needs. Although not all activities are suitable for all disabled participants, we will do our best to help by working with our instructors to assess your individual needs relative to the activities. We must also be informed of any medical conditions (asthma, epilepsy, deafness etc) any participant has.

Complaints Policy

In the unlikely event that you or your child are dissatisfied with the service we provide then please in the first instance raise it with the senior coach at the activity. He/she will deal will the problem in accordance with our policies and procedures.

If the problem is not resolved to your satisfaction then please write to our customer services team via our contact page within 7 days of child's attendance on the activity.

We take your views and complaints very seriously and will endeavour to resolve your complaint as quickly as possible. Refunds will only be issued if Bath Paddleboard Centre is proven to be in breach of these Terms & Conditions.

Personal Property

Bath Paddleboard Centre cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to any personal belongings whilst attending a Bath Paddleboard Centre activity.

Liability

Bath Paddleboard Centre has Public Liability insurance. Other than in relation to death or personal injury where Bath Paddleboard Centre or its staff is proven to be negligent, Bath Paddleboard Centre liability to you is limited to the booking fee paid by you. Bath Paddleboard Centre does not hold personal accident liability, it maybe participants choose to arrange their own cover.

General Terms and Conditions

Website Access

Access to our site is permitted on a short-term basis and we reserve the right to remove or modify the services we provide without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason our site is unavailable at any time or for any period.

Intellectual Property Rights

You must not use any part of the materials on our site for business-related purposes without gaining a licence to do so from us.

Website Content & Our Liability

The material exhibited on our site is provided without any assurances, conditions or guarantees as to its accuracy. Whilst every effort is made to update the content enclosed on this website, neither us nor any third party or provider make any representations or guarantees, and we shall not be bound by any information contained on our site.

Hacking and Viruses

We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a virus or other technically damaging material that may corrupt your computer equipment or other material due to your use of our site or to your downloading of any material displayed on it, or on any website linked to it.

You must not endeavour to gain unlawful access to our site, the server on which our site is stored or any server, computer or database linked to our site. You must not misuse our site by intentionally introducing viruses or other material that is malevolent or technically damaging.

These Terms and Conditions form the entire agreement between you and Bath Paddleboard Centre

By booking an activity with Bath Paddleboard Centre you are acknowledging your full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and confirm that you have not relied on any other representation other than those contained within these Terms and Conditions.
